Development History of CODO International College
Japanese Language School-Codo International College was established with
18-year experience in international volunteer
exchange programs and activities.
18 years ago,the Nakatomi from Tosu established an International Volunteer
Organization called "RIFA" to support international students
from Asia Since then an academic scholarship was donated to support international
students in Saga prefecture. In addition, many activities related to regional
and international understanding and volunteer, or "the Nodate"
have been held. Also several years ago overseas institution visits were
started. In 2001, the Japanese Language School-Codo International College
was established to adopt the spirit of RIFA and now it offers Japanese
language support to young people from all over world.

1."Caring" is the spirit of COCO International College.
Making the best use of international volunteer' experience. CODO act as
your own family and helps students from all over the world studying Japanese
to understand Japanese culture and customs.
2.CODO aims to help you to achieve a higher level of
Japanese lunguage ability.
CODO will guide you to acquire academic Japanese lunguage to enter undergraduate
and graduate Japanese universities and get the outstanding study achievements
and Japanese fluency to help you adapt into society.
3.Training global human resources through regional supports.
Teaching method with small classes of students is based on their ability
and skills. Guidance is offered according to the students' personality
and aspiration Especially, training human resources to contribute to international
society is in interaction with local communities.
